A Prayer for Veteran’s Day. By Catholic Digest on November 11, 2020. Veterans Day – November 11. Dear Lord, We remember today all those who fought for peace and justice. No words can fully express the appreciation we have for all those who have made sacrifices and continue to make sacrifices. Bless them, Lord! A Prayer for Veterans Help us, dear God, to see your face in every Veteran we encounter. Guide us as we imagine new ways to support Veterans and their families. Bring healing and peace to all who have been wounded physically, mentally and spiritually during wartime. Help us bring your saving grace to heal the invisible wounds of war. A prayer for Veterans Day. Father, bless our veterans and all who serve our nation defending our freedom. For those who bravely gave their lives, grant them eternal rest. For those who are serving, give them courage. For those who served, we offer our gratitude. We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen. Bring solace to them, O Lord. May we pray for them when they cannot pray. Have mercy on all our veterans from World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Bring peace to their hearts and peace to the regions they fought in. Bless all the soldiers who served in noncombative posts. May their calling to serve continue in their lives in ...
